My husband and I met John through 7j Design where he built the cabinetry for our kitchen. I was a bit hesitant at first as I was used to dealing with well-known cabinet companies. We had a meeting with John and 7j Design and were impressed with his knowledge, attention to detail and patience so we decided to proceed with him. Overall we were pleased with the outcome of the kitchen. The workmanship was impeccable. We also did a second renovation where John built cabinets for the ensuite, main bathroom, mudroom and wardrobe cabinets. Again everything turned out great. I would highly recommend John for any size job. He is great to work with and takes pride in his work.

I read one of John's article in a local newspaper and had him give me an estimate to redo my kitchen. He measured out everything and rearranged a few cupboards with drawers which work great. John did a great job and took his time to make sure it was just perfect. A very honest person and i would highly recommend him.
John built and installed mid-century modern-style floating room-divider shelves in my mid-century home. The final product is better than I hoped it would be. John completed the job on time, and for the price he quoted--which was less than I expected. I will definitely approach Cabinet Wakefield for my next project.

The first time I worked with John Z. was when he was awarded the millwork contract for the renovation of Sushi88 in 2009. Everything that he built and installed for the project has held up incredibly well over the years. To date, none of the table tops have required any repairs, which is uncommon for laminate table tops in a busy restaurant setting. John uses top quality materials, adhesives and hardware for his projects to ensure they stand up to years of use. His benches were beautifully engineered and are scheduled to be reupholstered.
In addition to being a Master craftsman, John is also an exceptionally pleasant individual to work with. He is great at keeping parties up to date with project process and advises of potential issues before they arise. He is always willing to help problem solve and share his expertise, even before he has been awarded a job.
